The advice journey is an incredibly important process. It provides firms with the opportunity to fully engage with and get to know their client throughout their relationship… which is the foundation of providing suitable advice. Thankfully, the FCA’s most recent suitability review found a large majority of cases were suitable. So, most advisers are giving great advice. Amazing!
But… (there’s always a but) only a small percentage of cases were compliant when it came to disclosure.
