June means only one thing in the land of The Art of Finance – it’s our birthday! We can’t quite believe we’re two already – where has the time gone?
Birthdays are always a good time to reflect on the last year, which let’s face it, was a very strange one indeed. Every business has had to deal with all that COVID has thrown at us – with remote working and the lockdown Hokey-Cokey, it’s definitely been a challenging year. That said, we’re ever the optimists at The Art of Finance, and we’ve tried to spend our time wisely and invest in new opportunities for our growing business!
As with everything that we create, it’s important to us that we continue delivering content that is modern, relevant and relatable and we’re very proud of what our team have managed to deliver in such a difficult year. We spent much of the first lockdown with our heads down, working on creating our interactive online courses. The reality is, is that ‘online courses’ was always part of the business plan but they had remained ‘goals’ on paper for longer than intended and so we have Covid-19 to thank for accelerating the urgency and ultimately turning those ‘goals’ into ‘actions’.
As the world starts to settle into a ‘new-normal’ we’re aware that things couldn’t and shouldn’t go back to the way they were pre-Covid. While it’s not entirely clear what the new ‘way of working’ will look like, we will continue to challenge ourselves to deliver the best solutions that makes training for a role in financial services more achievable than ever.
So, here we are, another year older and wiser (we’d like to think!) after a challenging but extremely productive year, feeling revitalised and ready for all that the next year has in store for us – and let’s face it, we don’t like standing still, so expect lots of newness and colour from this cake filled team!
